Divine Australia

Divine Australia is a lay-founded Catholic ministry that conducted its first services at Holy Family Church in Doveton in the early 2000s. With the support of the parish priest at the time, Fr Michael Shadbolt, Holy Family Church became the ministry’s first venue and early base and remains an important base for many of its programmes today. In its second year, Divine Australia extended its Healing Masses and retreats to other parishes across Melbourne and to cities and towns elsewhere in Australia.

Inspired by retreat experiences at the Divine Retreat Centre in Kerala, Divine Australia seeks to spread the message of salvation through Healing Masses, retreats, prayer programmes and the ministry of evangelising priests and Church-approved lay preachers. For almost 25 years, Divine Australia has helped people encounter Jesus, deepen their faith and experience healing and renewal through the Gospel.
